Elizabeth I:
in her own words
By Carole Levin In collaboration with Tamara Meneghini & Sabin Epstein
Edinburgh 2024
In the summer of 2024, Elizabeth I: In Her Own Words, a play written by Carole Levin, in collaboration with Tamara Meneghini, and in co-production with Flying Solo! Presents (Penelope Cole), Sabin Epstein (director), Lynn Nichols (associate director) , traveled to and was featured at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. There are no other audiences like Edinburgh Fringe audiences and they loved the show. As a result of that success, we are expanding the production to include both an hour version as presented previously, and a new 75-80 minute "full-length" version incorporating audience feedback, further research, and recently discovered documentation of others "own words" pertaining to Elizabeth's life and times.
That work is currently underway with several new collaborators!
